Your best days are ahead, the doorway to opportunity, and some good news!
What a week—it’s been full of surprises, gratitude, and proof that new chapters can be the best ones yet.
Dear friend,
What a week it has been! Thank you for all of your support for this new book. All is Calm..ish launched this week, and after my segment on the TODAY Show Monday, we sold out on Amazon within 2 hours—totally unexpected and blown away! (No worries—they are replacing their stock this weekend.)
This was completely unexpected both by me and my publisher, which led me to thinking…

Your Best Moments Aren’t Behind You
Some of your greatest moments are not behind you; they are ahead of you. I could not have imagined that my life would take the turn that it did in to writing and media. It was not on any vision board or a dream that I had for myself. Yet here we are.
Often times we think that our best days are behind us, yet as we grow in life experience and awareness, as our relationships deepen, as we discover what we want in ourselves and our lives—some of the best days await us. I do believe this is the truth for everyone who chooses to believe it.
When I share stories of how opportunities have appeared in my life, people are always amazed. Honestly, so am I. The only way I can explain it is that I make the most of each opportunity that I am given, I stay true to my priorities and values, and I always am looking for the people I can help and people I can learn from no matter where I am—and constant gratitude is my lifeline. I do think this way of being has opened the door to more possibilities, but some of this is nothing but divine intervention. Those are stories that I look forward to sharing one day.
I wanted to sincerely thank each of you who have supported this book and for gifting it, too. It is a beautiful way to say to someone, “I want you to have a calmer holiday because your joy is important, too.”
There is more to come, including in-person events in NYC, NY, and CT. Would love to see you there!
Please also check out the podcasts below for more detailed conversations on how to have a more peaceful, present, and CALM..ish holiday season! It will be here before you know it!

Flecks of Gold Journal
I recently sat down with Rachel Nielson, host of the 3 in 30 podcast, who has created this gorgeous one-line-a-day “golden moments” journal. It’s gratitude but 2.0. There is a beautiful story about miners finding flecks of gold and what it means for our lives as we look for these moments every day. According to the science, you will see them more and more with practice! Although it’s designed for moms, anyone can apply the concept to their lives. I just loved it!! Find it here, and Rachel has offered my subscribers a 10% discount code: NIRO.

ONE LAST THING
If you would be so kind to share some good words and write me a review on Amazon or Goodreads (even after you have read a couple chapters of ALL IS CALMish), that would mean the world! And it makes a big difference on how the book does in the metrics.

I’m wishing you every good thing this week.

If this letter brought you a little more perspective and joy today, please share it with someone you care about and encourage them to subscribe. Much more to come!
And if this email was shared with you, please subscribe! Each week I share a dose of calm, connection, and clarity rooted in science. I hope you’ll join the conversation!

Why 3 Good Things?
Wellness isn’t one big thing—it’s three good things, or two good things, or five. It’s noticing the gifts of the life we have.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ve probably heard me talk about “3 Good Things.” It’s the question I often ask my kids and one of my favorite gratitude practices.
Research shows that identifying three good things each day can actually rewire your brain from negativity to optimism in just 30 days. Follow along for my 3GT each week! And send me yours! I want to hear from you.
